Self consolidating concrete (SCC) is an extremely flowable, non-segregating concrete that can spread into place, filling the formwork and surrounding objects without the need for extra time and effort of working it into place. SCC helps your crew get the work done fast, leaving a uniform architectural surface finish without mechanical vibration and with very little screeding. With a spread (slump flow) of 18″ to 28″, SCC offers improved pumpability and easy consolidation around reinforcement. SCC owes its flowability to high-range, water-reducing admixtures rather than extra water.
